Recording Options
Audio Quality
FieldSocio records in high-quality format optimized for speech recognition:

Interview Metadata
Each interview can include:

Managing Interviews
From the interview list, you can:
- View all interviews with transcription status indicators
- Filter by participant, language, or status
- Search across interview content
- Access detailed views with transcript, summary, and codes

Best Practices
- Test your microphone before important interviews
- Record in a quiet environment when possible — ASR accuracy improves significantly
- Use the correct language setting — mismatched language reduces transcription quality
- Add metadata immediately after recording while details are fresh
- Review AI-generated codes — they are suggestions, not final analysis
