Choosing a Methodology

FieldSocio tailors its AI analysis prompts based on your chosen methodology:

  • Grounded Theory — Generates open, axial, and selective codes from interview data
  • Thematic Analysis — Identifies themes and sub-themes across interviews
  • Phenomenology — Focuses on lived experience descriptions and meaning units
  • Framework Analysis — Maps data to pre-defined analytical frameworks

You can change the methodology later in project settings.

Project Dashboard

Once created, your project dashboard shows:

  • Interviews — Recorded and uploaded interviews with transcription status
  • Surveys — Custom forms and collected responses
  • Field Notes — Text and audio notes from the field
  • Participants — Registered participants with consent status
  • PRA Tools — Participatory exercises and their outputs
  • FGDs — Focus group discussion sessions
